Letter from the Director
Dear subscriber,

As the world watches with horror, the spread of the deadly coronavirus that started from Wuhan in China, the public health systems will have to go that extra mile to check its potential spread any further. Even as investigations by world agencies are underway to understand the epidemic, back home, there’s a lot to learn from Kerala’s response to the health emergency, that involved early detection, isolation and counselling, along with a wide network of primary health centres, down to the village level.

We like to believe in each silver lining that outlines the clouds, and we are sure that we can successfully fight health and social challenges, pollution, climate change and economic strains, by fast, innovative and united responses, and by embracing growth and diversity.

Browse through the Tatsat Communique of February 16 to know about more such social concerns. Looking forward to your valuable feedback!

Sumi Gupta, Director, Tatsat Foundation
